Applications are now open for the CAYSA Junior Fellowship Program 2022-2023

The 4ATX Foundation and the Capital Area Youth Soccer Association (CAYSA) are teaming up for the 2022-23 youth soccer season, the third consecutive year the organizations will work together for an annual club scholarship program.

Along with CAYSA, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supporting soccer for youth and their communities in Central Texas, the 4ATX Foundation is now accepting applicants for the scholarship program, which provides the opportunity for young local players in the program CAYSA Junior Academy to join a local team.

“After seeing the initial success of our partnership with CAYSA, we are excited to be working with them again this year,” said 4ATX Foundation CEO Kaitlin Mauro. “This bursary program plays a key role in ensuring that young athletes in our community have access to the sport of soccer, regardless of their socio-economic background.

Parents or guardians of young players wishing to apply for the club scholarship program can do so via this link (English) (In Spanish). Completed applications can be emailed to [email protected] The deadline for submitting applications is September 5.

The 4ATX Foundation will offer several full and partial scholarships to CAYSA Club Scholars for the 2022-2023 season, focusing on young players from disadvantaged backgrounds.

“CAYSA is thrilled at the opportunity to see our member clubs benefit from the generosity of the 4ATX Foundation and Austin FC,” said CAYSA President David Buckler. “We are grateful for this relationship and look forward to continuing this partnership for a third year.”

CAYSA has served the Greater Austin metropolitan area since 1979. CAYSA is a member association of the South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA) and part of US Youth Soccer. CAYSA serves approximately 14,000 young players each year through recreational and competitive programs.
