Brocton names students of the month | News, Sports, Jobs
Drew Gustafson has been selected by Brocton Middle School faculty and staff as March’s student of the month.
He is currently in eighth grade at Brocton and is the son of Gary and Cassandra Gustafson of Brocton. Drew is a member of the baseball, basketball and football teams. He is also a member of the Honor Society. Drew’s accolades include High Honor Roll and being recognized in the local newspaper. His favorite subject is science.
He would like to be an IT manager in the future.
Aron Tinsley was chosen by faculty and staff at Brocton High School as their March student of the month. He is a sophomore and resides in Brocton with his parents, Jerald Tinsley and Jennifer Lohrke.
He is a member of the writing club, band and the National Junior Honor Society. Outside of school, Aron’s hobbies include: sewing, drawing, writing, playing the guitar, cooking and going out when the weather permits.
As a new resident of Brocton, Aron is looking for ways to further integrate into the community.
Her favorite course is Earth Sciences. He likes the subject because it’s easy to grasp and satisfies his constant curiosity about how the world (and beyond) works.
In the future, he plans to attend JCC to take all available business courses. He hopes to one day start a bakery/cooking business, or pursue a career in other creative fields such as visual arts (probably digital) or music (guitar).
