Gators ink 16 on national signing day

GAINESVILLE, Florida – The University of Florida’s Men’s Women’s Swim and Diving Team has officially announced 16 new additions to the program for the 2022-2023 season.

This new class will bring immense success to the next level of their swimming and diving careers, both in and out of the pool.

Nationally and internationally, the group has also achieved success as members of the US National Team, qualifying for the US and Canadian Olympic Trials, and competitors for the European National and World Junior Championships.

With 23 seniors on this year’s squad, the class will be looking to step in and contribute in their freshman year at Gainesville for the orange and blue next season.

The Head Coach Anthony NestyThoughts from on the most recent Gators:

“I am very satisfied with the two recruiting classes. We have recruited the right people to make our teams more competitive.

They will fill the void for outgoing seniors and contribute greatly to our current rosters.

They are not only talented athletes, but all are academically good students who share a great personal character.

We are very happy to welcome this class and know that everyone is committed to making the Gators great! “
