Ammon News – The Industrial Property Protection Department of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), organized the virtual closing session of the project on intellectual property policies in Jordanian universities and research institutes.

Department Director Raya Ensour stressed the importance of developing intellectual property policies in Jordanian universities and research institutes because of their “positive” impact on promoting creativity and innovation, which is positively affects the development of the national economy in accordance with the Jordan Vision 2025. .

The meeting reviewed the working approach of the project, the steps and methods used to successfully achieve the expected results in universities and research institutes, as well as the challenges these institutions face in setting policies. intellectual property rights and lessons learned from the project.
