Oct. 18 Academic staff Senate – Exhibitor

On October 18, the Senate of Academic Staff held its bi-weekly meeting.

The topic of salaries was raised and discussed by Director of Human Resources Jessica Wright. “On November 1, the UW Systems full salary scale salary structure for all TTC titles will be released,” Wright said. Town halls will be held on November 9 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and November 18 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. for those with questions about salary structures. The next deadline for title calls is November 30. The deadline for submitting goals and finalized criteria for staff performance reviews is November 15. Wright informed the Senate that this week was the deadline for benefit registrations.

Tollefson mentioned that there was $ 11,000 available for professional development programs. The deadline for proposals is November 5th. He then discussed the recap of the Administrative Assembly meeting on October 13. Topics covered included the Academic Bias Incident Team; 22 incidents had been reported since July 2021. They try to raise awareness about acts of hate or violence that occur on campus and where you can report them. Construction of the 150th anniversary hall is proceeding as planned. Construction of the medical assistant program office on the first floor of Ullsvik began this week. COVID-19 updates occur once a week on the campus dashboard. A vaccination site operates at Royce Hall on Thursdays, with testing Monday through Friday at Hugunin Hall. Pre-registration required.
