There is a cure for every disease: academic
Pink Ribbon Day was celebrated on the Township Campus of the University of Education in collaboration with Cancer Care Hospital and the Lions Club.
On this occasion, addressing an awareness seminar, Dr Talat Nasir Pasha (SI), Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education, said that there is a cure for every disease. “If we want to avoid cancer, we have to change our lifestyle accordingly. Women should be well aware of this disease. All of society should work together to eradicate this deadly disease from our country, ”he said.
Addressing the seminar, Dr Ambreen Zahoor, consultant radiologist at Cancer Care Hospital, briefed the students on the different symptoms of cancer.
She said that we should try to increase our immunity by adding more fruits and vegetables to our diet. Dr Ambreen said women should not hesitate to talk about breast cancer and take good care of their health.

It can be said here that efforts to educate the population on the need to prevent the disease have increased in the country. Recently, a cycling rally was organized at the Maison du Gouverneur as part of the breast cancer awareness campaign.
The rally was led by Begum Perveen Sarwar, wife of the governor of Punjab.
First Lady Samina Alvi and Perveen Sarwar praised the participants for their role in raising awareness about breast cancer. Women from different backgrounds were present on the occasion.
